Raja qualified from The University of Manchester in 1985. He has worked in general practice since 1986 after working for a short period in the hospital.

His main interests are in restorative dentistry with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques and facial aesthetics. Alongside Neil, Raja was amongst the first group to study and pass the Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy. Raja is known for his caring, gentle manner and the relationship he develops with his patients. His interest in people and his desire to help and understand them more deeply led to him pursuing further training in psychology and he is now a trained psychotherapist.

In his spare time, he enjoys airsofting , restoring his beloved Land Rover and voluntary work.
